Meet Scott Rait

The man behind the lense

I was born in Wellington, raised in rural Western Southland and now reside in Christchurch.

My journey into photography really began in 2010 after purchasing my first camera.

Prior to that I had been using mum’s camera. After several times using, it she suggested I look at getting my own camera. (I think she was scared I was going to break hers).

So, I purchased one and now thousands of photos later I have decided to let people see what I am capable of.

Over the past nearly 4 years I have gone through some very trying times and photography has been one of the major areas to help me get through these times.
